Exam-AID's are group review sessions that occur just prior to a midterm or final exam. To ensure participants get the most from their session, each Exam-AID is instructed by a fellow student who has previously excelled in that particular course and has exceptional teaching abilities.
Material that is covered for the midterm or exam includes:
- Major concepts
- Theorems
- Definitions
- Potential questions
- Common pitfalls
Exam-AID sessions also provide students with a review package to study with afterwards. Sessions typically last between 2 and 3 hours.

"Exam-AID sessions took a term and shrank it into 90 minutes of extremely beneficial review that left me less stressed and even confident about the exam to come."
- Jody Jahnke
"I find that the tutors explain the concepts much better than the profs, and I'm not embarrassed to ask questions."
- Melissa Tardibuono (1A Computer Science)
"Sometimes when you study by yourself you are not sure where you are compared to others. Most of the time I have no idea where I'm at. SOS sessions allow me to see how I'm doing and if more effort needs to be put forth towards my studies."
- Matt Wilson
"Thank you so much for creating SOS. It was a lifesaver for me during the exam crunch season. The tutors were all very helpful, and I especially liked the succinct summary nature of the cram notes. The entire concept of it is definitely for a great cause. I'm sure many kids across the world are benefiting from your philanthropic innovation.”
